Welcome Liz Cowie to the board!

Liz Cowie is a community volunteer whose professional path wove together law, education, and service. She began her career as an environmental attorney before raising funds for education research at Stanford's Graduate School of Education—work that first brought her to East Palo Alto Academy and the Foundation.

Today she co-leads the Youth Service program with the Palo Alto/University Rotary Club, collaborating with schools and youth organizations to create hands-on opportunities that help young people lead, serve, and thrive.

Liz holds a BA in history from Duke University and a JD from the University of Pennsylvania.
